Welcome to the 12th edition of Syli d’Or of world music!

An explosive evening that will present TOKA TANOKA, a duet that sings in Basque and French. During their performance, the instruments parade between their hands and the moods with. They will be followed by DAKKA, a artsite that draws inspiration from its African experience and tells the greatness and decadence of the modern world through its Mandingo reggae.

Doors open at 8:30 pm Free admission.

TokaTaNoka (France / QC)

Biography of the artist:
TokaTaNoka, is the meeting of two musicians accomplices of “here” and “there”, in 2015. “Here”, the Quebec, where the percussionist Olivier Bussières discovers the techniques of various tambourines and decides to leave in Israel to deepen the study of the Riqq.

Dakka (Ivory Coast – Mali – Quebec)

Biography of the artist:
Born Seïdou Dembélé, Dakka is a child of exile, an artist obliged to bend to the vagaries of history, and of his own history, to live his art. Born in Côte d’Ivoire to Malian parents, young Seïdou quickly developed a passion for music, and not just any type, but reggae. There is no doubt that reggae is at the heart of his passions.
